Head of VFX Editorial
At Prime Focus James was the head of the UK Editorial department for feature films. He managed a team of editors that were responsible for delivering content on tight deadline feature films operating across three global sites. He worked directly with technical pipeline team to develop bespoke tools to manage stereoscopic 3D workflows and trained staff in both London and Mumbai.
James was an online editor at Technicolor based in their Soho office. During this time he was responsible for full feature conforms and delivery, some visual effects and film restoration, trailer conform and multi-region versioning.
James started his career at The Moving Picture Company. He began as a runner in 2007 and rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Online Editor. His role was to assist Colourists Max Horton and Jean-Clement Soret as well as providing conform support and film restoration,
